By accessing and using Chair Exchange, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

Chair Exchange is a marketplace platform connecting workspace providers (chairs, stations, treatment rooms) with beauty and wellness professionals across the UK.

3. User Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• One account per user or business

4. Listing Content & Images

Image Requirements:

• You must own or have permission to use all images you upload
• Images must not contain copyrighted material without authorization
• Images must not be abusive, offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate
• Images must accurately represent the workspace being advertised
• We reserve the right to remove any images that violate these terms
• Placeholder images provided by Chair Exchange may be used freely

Content Standards:

• Listings must be accurate and not misleading
• No abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language
• No spam or duplicate listings
• Contact information must be valid

5. Prohibited Content

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Illegal activities or services
• Fraudulent or misleading information
• Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content
• Sexually explicit or inappropriate material
• Copyright or trademark infringement
• Personal attacks or defamatory statements

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you upload
• By uploading, you grant Chair Exchange a license to display your content
• Chair Exchange owns all platform design, code, and branding
• You may not copy or reproduce our platform without permission

7. Listing Fees & Payments

• Standard listings are free
• Featured listings require payment (£1/day)
• All payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Fees are non-refundable once a listing is published
• Listings expire after the selected duration

8. User Responsibilities

• Verify all information before entering agreements
• Conduct your own due diligence on workspaces and providers
• Chair Exchange is not party to any agreements between users
• Report any suspicious or inappropriate content

9. Liability & Disclaimers

• Chair Exchange is a platform only - we do not verify listings
• We are not responsible for disputes between users
• Use the service at your own risk
• We do not guarantee availability or accuracy of listings
• We are not liable for any losses arising from use of the platform

10. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that:

• Violates these terms
• Infringes copyright or intellectual property
• Is reported as inappropriate
• Contains abusive or offensive material
• Is fraudulent or misleading

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms repeatedly
• Post prohibited content
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the platform or other users

12. Data & Privacy

Your use of Chair Exchange is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described in that policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
